Responsibilities
- Employee Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers.
- Provide guidance and support in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Conduct effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires seamlessly.
- Policy and Procedure Implementation:
- Assist in developing, revising, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs.
- Answer employee inquiries about benefits.
- Ensure accurate enrollment and eligibility processes.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and collaborate with management to organize relevant training sessions.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance management process.
- Provide guidance on goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular HR reports for management review.
- Employee Engagement:
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
- Enhance the employee experience.
- Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate and resolve employee disputes, grievances, and workplace conflicts fairly and effectively.
- HR Projects:
- Participate in HR-related projects, including process improvements, organizational restructuring, and culture enhancement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus)
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, demonstrating a strong grasp of HR functions.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining confidentiality, building trust, and collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills, enabling independent, sound judgments and decisions.
- Proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous learning to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
