We seek a talented and proactive HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will be crucial in supporting various HR functions, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers.
    • Provide guidance and support in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Conduct effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires seamlessly.
  • Policy and Procedure Implementation:
    • Assist in developing, revising, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefits programs.
    • Answer employee inquiries about benefits.
    • Ensure accurate enrollment and eligibility processes.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with management to organize relevant training sessions.
    • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in the performance management process.
    • Provide guidance on goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Compile and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare regular HR reports for management review.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Enhance the employee experience.
  • Conflict Resolution:
    • Mediate and resolve employee disputes, grievances, and workplace conflicts fairly and effectively.
  • HR Projects:
    • Participate in HR-related projects, including process improvements, organizational restructuring, and culture enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus)
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, demonstrating a strong grasp of HR functions.
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining confidentiality, building trust, and collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving skills, enabling independent, sound judgments and decisions.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous learning to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
